Powered/Air/Tractor Drive

Powered or motorized trolleys are the most common suspension method for hoists over 2 ton capacities.

 

They are also a time saving investment when used on lengthy runways.  Motorized trolleys either attach directly to a lug suspended hoist, forming an integrated material handling unit, or are manufactured with a clevis for top hook hoist hookup.

 

Through the use of a pendant throttle, the operator is able to control the hoist/trolley functions, thus increasing load handling efficiency and speed.

 

Motor driven trolleys are designed in both electric and air driven models.
